There is a new ficathon community that may be of interest. twicetoldfandom is a multi-fandom (or original fiction) community in which artists create non-fandom-specific art, and then writers receive one of these images to write a story about. It's a neat idea, and, as I said, any fandom is acceptable, so if you want to write "Popular," or "dirt," or "The Collector," or any other Carly fandom, here's a good place to do it, since many ficathons are fandom-specific (and, let's face it, those fandoms aren't really hopping.)
