first to die adaptation

This is kind of Carly-adjacent news, but we'll take what we can get. ABC is launching a television series based on James Patterson's "Women's Murder Club" books. (The show is, shockingly, called Women's Murder Club. The pilot was written by Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain -- you know them from Buffy.) Carly was in a made-for-television movie of the first book in the Women's Murder Club series, First to Die. She played reporter Cindy Thomas.

On the TV show, Carly's character is played by Aubrey Dollar, who I don't know at all, but apparently was in a sequel to "Save the Last Dance."

That's it. Of interest to people who were fans of "First to Die." Feel free to rage about the injustice of Carly not playing Cindy weekly on ABC, however. Cuz what's up with that?
