I think that Carly absolutely steals every scene she's in. I think Garbo's way too good for Julia Mallory. I think Holt is fucked; not proper fucked, but, like, I've-acquired-an-immune-deficiency-or-maybe-lymphoma fucked. I think Wayne Brady is the shizNITE. For serious, that kicked ass.

I don't like Holt. I think he's going to get his in the end. I think Holt is responsible for all the pain Julia is in the moment. I think that he doesn't have the right to get mad at Julia next week for being with Garbo when he was going to sleep with Lucy.
I think Julia whole crackwhore break down at the photoshoot actually made me like her more. It could be because right afterward she ran to Garbo, but then again, who wouldn't?
I think that Carly made it so I will never hear "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" the same way again. Who knew that was such a hot song?

Ha! I believe that Eliza Dushku has the power to turn people gay. And there's serious conjecture within Buffy fandom that Faith is the Buffyverse equivalent of Angelina Jolie. As in, "Well, I'm not a lesbian, but I'd totally go gay for Angelina Jolie."

No. No, I don't think so.
I don't like Holt. I think he's going to get his in the end. I think Holt is responsible for all the pain Julia is in the moment. I think that he doesn't have the right to get mad at Julia next week for being with Garbo when he was going to sleep with Lucy.
I'm torn about Holt. I mean, I don't have huge reserves of affection for him, but I can sympathize with what he did. And I don't blame him entirely for Julia's situation; she's made a lot of her own bed. And I don't think, really, that he was going to sleep with Lucy; I think he was just flirting with her a) because it's more of this new taste of attention/power that he's suddenly getting, and b) because it's another way to "pay" her that doesn't involve selling out his friends.
And of course he can't be mad at Julia for having sex with Garbo. Who wouldn't?
Anyway, my point with Holt . . . there are no real sympathetic characters on this show, except, maybe, for Don, who's kind of an innocent. But everyone else . . . you can't really root for them. You don't necessarily want them to fail, but they're not nice people, and they're doing bad things for selfish reasons, so when they do get their comeuppance, it seems justified.

I just wanted to comment and say that I meant he's the reason she was knocked out of commission for a while. He was like insane when he flipped his car and she didn't know what was going on.
The drugs and her slutty ways are of her own doing. But it's hard to be a crackwhore, yo!

It's definitely a show that you love to hate everyone. But that's what makes it fun. Like I find myself rooting for them to do the bad things. I know that's a little twisted, but I'm just like that. I love bad guys and this is a show all about bad guys.
I know a lot of people that don't feel as strongly about Carly as most of us are complaining about her seducing people with drugs. The drugs don't really bother me (well except that needle thing last night. I wasn't loving that). I guess I'm kind of used to seeing her in druggie roles.
